Rotary Bangalore Shantiniketan was chartered on the 29th June 2018 with an enthusiastic group of 21 members who eagerly wants to contribute towards making the world a better world. We are from diverse professional backgrounds, with an intent to give back to Society. We pour our passion, integrity and capabilities into completing projects that have a lasting impact, and we persevere until we deliver real, lasting solutions.

Anitha is from Aragonda in Chittoor district. She did her studies in Aragonda, Tirupathi, Chennai and Hyderabad. Her daughter – Nischita is a doctor in the US, and Son – Anwesh is doing his Ph.D in Biotechnology in the US. Anitha has been very active in community service and has been a core member in quite a few committees like Voter Id awareness, Green team and has held key positions like secretary of PSAOWA. She is into real estate management. Aanitha is passionate about environment protection, loves travelling and exploring new places.

Born and raised in suncity - Jodhpur, Rajasthan, Ashish comes from a Rotarian family. He is Energy Sutainability and Project specialist. He is an engineer from IIT Bombay and Purdue University, USA. He has worked with organizations such as Indian Oil, World Bank and Shell across Asia, Americas and Australia in various roles in projects, sustainability, and government relations.
Ashish and his wife Apurva both are passionate about serving society and actively supports upskilling underprivileged children, promoting non - violence, and supporting animal protection deeds. He is a hockey player and a photographer.

Sunil has done his masters in Accounting & Finance from Devi Ahiliya University (Indore) and is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Sunil has worked & lived in US for almost a decade. Sunil has vast experience of managing global, high impact projects all over the world. (North American, Europe, Asia & Australia). An avid Traveler & Twitterati, Sunil’s passion is driving, cooking, reading, contemporary politics, Movies and Music.

Mithun is an Engineer at heart. He led teams in Software Engineering in India and Sweden for over 15 years. Apart from his tech wizardry, he is also an entrepreneur with interests in Real Estate, E-Publishing and Restaurants in multiple cities. His latest foray is into Export advisory services. Apart from Social service, his other interests are in Photography, hobby electronics, home automation, Cars, skiing and fitness. He is very keen on giving back to the society and believes that universal education is the best way to ensure sustainable progress.

Rajamane is an Electrical Engineering Graduate. He started his own manufacturing venture in1974 manufacturing telephone equipment. He has won four National Awards including Republic Day Award in 1974 for excellence in manufacturing innovative products. His company now manufactures world class Solar Panels, LED lights, Lithium ion batteries, injection mouldings and boasts of one of the best tool manufacturing facility in the country. He is actively involved in many social service initiatives. He has been a Rotarian for the past 29 years and has served as President of esteemed organizations like KASSIA, WASIA, Indiranagar Club, Rotary Bangalore Down Town and many more.

Suresh is a marketing consultant of Kajaria Ceramics Ltd for Karnataka. He was born in Bombay, and did his commerce graduation at Kolkata. After work, he takes a keen interest in keeping healthy by going on walks and swimming.
He is truly a Marwari entrepreneur at heart. He strongly believes that Age is just a number and god willing, he wishes to never retire from work.

He ventured into VLSI design domain after attaining a Post graduate degree in VLSI design from Thapar University Patiala. He is passionate about Community Development and likes to develop social connects since school days. He is very passionate about artworks like poetry and astrological sciences. Besides this, He loves to help and guide the brighter talent in India who struggle because of scarcity of vision, mission and finances.

Rajiv is a Post Graduate from Punjab University, Chandigarh. He had business interests in Hotels, Cement and Renewable Energy and is Member of Himachal Hydro power producers association. He has been a Rotarian for 30 years, and served as the President of Rotary Pathankot Central, and led various social initiatives.
Rtn Rajiv is fond of outdoor activities, travelling and Sufi music , hitchhiking are his other hobbies.
Rtn. Rajiv wants to make the world a better place to live in by removing disparity and by saving our environment.

Experience spans markets across the US, Europe, Asia and Africa in major sectors such as Oil & Gas, Specialty Chemicals, Capital Project Materials, Equipment and Services.
Consultant and Trainer for the Government of California’s Manufacturing Technology Center. He was also an Adjunct faculty at the University of Houston, School of Business Management, where he taught courses in Supply Chain management, Contracting & Negotiations.

Gopi is originally from Abohar, Punjab and grew up in Patna. He did his graduation in Commerce and joined the family flour milling business. His ambition drove him to establish businesses in multiple domains like agro, steel works and mining. He currently runs a stone crushing unit in Bangalore. He’s happily married for 42 years, and has 2 boys aged 38 and 40. He is passionate about astrology and is fun to be around with lots of light hearted conversations.

Vikas Kumar Sahoo

Vikas Sahoo is an IT Professional originally from Jabalpur, with more than 25 years’ experience. He has done his MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK and has worked in multiple MNC’s across the globe, including 15 years in Singapore. He started social service at a young age as a Rotractor, and continues contributing today as a Rotarian. He is also quite passionate about cooking, and can whip up a delicious meal in a jiffy.

Her philosophy of life is “Some must give all, all must give some, only then can there be peace, progress and harmony in this world.”

My name is Atul Khanna.I was born to an engineer working in BHEL Bhopal and loving mother, I studied in Mact , then worked for 3 years in ABB. Did my MBA from SPJIMR in 2002 in IT and joined Polaris. Then I joined a small company called Fineng, became a product manager. The company was acquired by 3i infotech and in 2011, i joined another startup called Next Advisors. After shutting it, i joined Edelweiss and Utrade, then I shifted to health care IT. Currently I am working with Standard chartered bank in IT project management.
I am happily married and have 2 kids a 16 year old boy and a 11 year old girl they both go to VIBGYOR HIGH.
My wife is a teacher by profession, my son likes to play football and my daughter is into dance.I like to read books, go for a swim and play Table Tennis.I am looking forward to work with Rotary and make positive contribution to society. I believe Rotary PSN would be the best place which can help me achieve this objective

Deepak is a metallurgical engineer by qualification from I.I.T. Kanpur. He has thirty plus years of work experience in the field of materials engineering, corrosion control, and life extension for ageing pressurized equipment and pipelines used in hydrocarbon industries. He works for Shell as Principal Materials and Corrosion Engineer. He supports oil and gas production facilities and projects in Asia Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa regions. His work involves frequent international travels to earn his bread and look for butter.
Deepak has been keenly learning and actively contributing to the transition of oil and gas industry towards environmentally responsible, and cost-effective technology solutions for safe and reliable oil and gas supplies to industry and retail customers. This newly popular, ethical, and sustainable, approach to energy delivery, has inspired him to adopt the same philosophy in his interactions with the society.
His motto for becoming a Rotary Shantiniketan member is to enhance the life experience of all members in his community, including children, elderly and under-privileged. He intends to pursue it by creating awareness about safe, sustainable, and meaningful living. He feels that Rotary Shantiniketan membership shall enable him to contribute his time, efforts, and resources to create a perceptible change.
Deepak is a family man blessed with a loving wife Dr. Anita, and two talented children, Sagar, and Priyanka, who are pursuing higher education abroad. As a “Family Man” he aspires to emulate the wits of Manoj Bajpai minus the excitement of chasing enemies with guns and ammunition. As a veteran Toastmaster, he continues to improve his public speaking skills mixing humour with the message.
Deepak is looking forward to carrying the Rotary Shantiniketan legacy forward.
Kyle Williams

Kyle studied and worked in USA, where he completed a B.Sc. in Physics at Oregon State University while specialising in lasers and fibre optics. Working as a senior network architect and engineer for an international datacenter provider, Kyle designed, deployed, and maintained core datacenter networks, blended internet services, and cloud/baremetal hybrid network solutions for 1 to 100 Gigabit clients, while modernising legacy infrastructure.
The blend of experience with both academic and practical fiber optic applications allowed Kyle to transition to an educational role here in India, where he is now volunteering at the Curioscity Science Center, teaching young students about light, fiber optics, and electromagnetism using mad science experiments.
Kyle participated in many extracurricular activities in his youth that required fundraising through coordination with local businesses and seeking financial support from a range of sources including charitable organisations and for-profit companies. Participating in and procuring funding for national-level scholastic competitions and a student exchange program between USA and Japan formed pivotal experiences for Kyle, and he is eager to impart similar experiences on to students here in India.
