Mutliple clubs of Rotary District 3191 contributed to this project of giving autos to deserving Lady drivers in bangalore. The drivers were screend carefully. Most of the recipients have been abandoned by their family, and many even take care of their small children all by themself. They used to drive rented autos till now. They are not eligible for loans.
Rotary negotiated a bulk deal with the Auto Manufacturers, Made a deal with the banks where we paid the downpayment, and arranged favourable terms of repayment of the loan. In a few years, these women will own their autos fully and also have a souce of income for a long time to come.
The Auto sponsored by Rotary Shaniniketan has been handed over to Ms Paru who lives in Anekal. She is a very confident woman and has been an auto driver for 5 years. She believes that having a pleasant outlook and careful driving can improve the days of people who she transports.

We conducted our regular Blood donation camp in colloboration with the Rotary Blood bank. This blood supports Kids suffering from blood cancer and Patients in Govt hospitals. The BMST Rotary Blood bank is one of the most advanced blood banks in whole of South India.

Under the Presidentship of Rtn Sunil Jain, our club was recognized as a Gold Star club.
Conducted our 4th Edition of the Bangalore Cyclothon. We had an overwhelming response and raised funds for our school at Jyothipura.
Rtn Rajiv Jain came up with the idea of conducting a Chess tournament to raise funds for Educational causes. After our successful smaller event inside the community, we scaled it up to a large event at Nexus Shantiniketan Mall. It was very well received and much appreciated by Participants and Parents alike.
